  1. I called the number above for info , but was told that it is the tv station. I am looking for info about possibly renting out the Arts Barn for an adult birthday party. Is this possible, and if so, how much would it be for a few hours and a Saturday night?
    Thank you.

  3. Hello,
I’m Mike Levinsohn from Frank & Dependent, an eight-piece, post-folk indie band from Boston University. We are currently booking venues for a summer tour (May 24th to June 11th) in the tri-state area. We’ve played a series of gigs in Boston at Park Plaza, All Asia, as well as various BU-hosted events and we plan on playing more shows before the school year is over. The links below lead you to our Facebook page, BandCamp, and ReverbNation. We also have an album on iTunes titled “The Land of Milk and Honey” (link also below). I am originally from New York and I have never been to the Madison Arts Barn before but my friend Christine O’Connor went to Daniel Hand High School and claims she practically grew up there. She suggested that we should play there because, well, “it’s awesome.” We are all really excited about gaining new experience through this tour and we hope to add the Madison Arts Barn to our list. Thank you so much for your time; we hope to hear back from you soon.

    Sincerely, Frank & Dependent

  4. Dear Madison Arts Barn,

I am a performing and recording artist in Guilford,CT, and I am planning a CD release concert and party for Sunday, September 30. I’m figuring that 100 – 200 people will show up, so I’m having a hard time finding a venue. Everything is too big or too small.

Being as this will be a public performance, is there any chance you could help me out with this concert?

I’m in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign to help me launch the CD. It is completely recorded and mastered, and I just need help financing the reproduction and licensing. If you are interested, you can check out my campaign at http://kck.st/Ne0R6o.

Also – when is your open mic? I have a bunch of students I would LOVE to bring out to that!

    Sincerely,
    Sandy Connolly

    • Sandy,
The Arts Barn is not available for private rental so unfortunately we will not be able to help you. However, we have an open mic night on the third saturday of every month from 6:30 – 10 PM. We have one this Saturday July 21st. Admission is $5 and it is a great opportuinity for your students to get some stage time.

  6. Hi – Is the Arts Barn availbable for a monthly meeting for a local civics organization. I would need it on Tuesday, September 11th from 7-8. Thank you for your time!
